A Pünkösdfürdői Strandfürdő Hajós Alfréd tervei alapján 1935-ben létesült, vízellátását egy 556 méter mély fúrt kút biztosítja.

A strand vizét szolgáltató mélyfúrási kút kialakítását a dunaparti helyszínen 1934 tavaszán kezdték meg, és pünkösd napján langyos forrásvizet adott. Innen ered a Pünkösdfürdő elnevezés. A strandfürdő 1935-ben létesült, Hajós Alfréd tervei alapján. 1950. május 10-én került a Fővárosi Gyógyfürdők és Gyógyforrások Vállalat tulajdonába.
