Átadták Csepelen az új, 16 ezer négyzetméteres Görgey parkot

Negyven darab fát ültettek és közel 13000 négyzetméteren gyepesítették a területet.

Jelképesen átadták Csepelen, a Csikó sétányon megépült új Görgey parkot 2020. november 20-án. Közösségi tervezéssel, a helyi lakosok javaslatai alapján összesen 16 ezer négyzetméteren varázsolták újjá a területet a volt Görgey iskola helyén.

A régi romos, balesetveszélyessé vált épületet 2019-ben elbontották. Előtte a városvezetés kérdőíves felmérésben és lakossági fórumon keresztül érdeklődött a helybeliektől a terület újrahasznosításáról. Mint kiderült a legnépszerűbb lakossági kezdeményezésnek a szökőkút bizonyult.

A megvalósult létesítmény Csepelen egyedülálló, ilyen típusú nincs még a kerületben.

Csapvízzel működik, nincs benne káros anyag. A tervezők szélérzékelőt is építettek bele, így erősebb szél esetén a szétspriccelő vízsugaraktól sem kell tartani.
